Doing it now
“I have a list and a steering meeting. Not much is landing.”
Lead2Coach Academy
Three days on deciding what happens to the AI projects in front of you. What gets funded, what moves into production, and what should stop. Somebody has to make those calls, whatever their job title says.
12 to 16 places, and nothing to prepare. The first of the Academy’s three tracks. Request a place, or try the ten questions first.
What you learn
Accountable for
Can decide
Accountable for, cannot decide
The ask
One named person, one decision, one date.
All of it runs on paper. Aptavo, our software, makes it faster and is entirely optional.
Who comes
Doing it now
“I have a list and a steering meeting. Not much is landing.”
Building it
“Nobody owns this yet, and it is drifting towards me.”
Advising others
“Clients ask me which AI projects to back. I want a good answer.”
Heading into it
“This is where my work is going. I want to do it properly.”
Championing an AI portfolio is something you do, not a job you hold. Plenty of people in the room will not have the title.
The three days
The work itself, finding what is running, and what kind of project each one is.
What your organization can take on, the assessment, and the biggest scale that works.
Who owns what can go wrong, turning a gap into a named person, and how to ask.
Taught on prepared cases, so there is nothing to bring and nothing confidential goes into the room.
Being straight about it
After it, if you want it
A small group over about six months, working on the calls you are actually making rather than on cases. People from all three Academy tracks are in it.
Group sessions for the method and for comparing notes. Private sessions for the parts that involve a real person by name.
If you are setting it up
No mandate yet, no rhythm, often no list. You run the practice for two cycles and build the case for it existing.
If you already lead it
A portfolio and a cadence already exist. The work is leading it better, and having peers who are doing the same thing.
A new cohort starts each quarter. No price yet, and the certification is earned there by regular application rather than in the three days. Write if you want to hear when it opens.
Who teaches it
Co-founder, Managing Director
Redesigns how organizations decide and deliver. Scaled Signavio's engineering organization, ran organizational diagnostics across global pharma R&D, and wrote a book on leading through continuous technological change.
Co-founder
Operating-model and governance redesign at enterprise scale. Right now leading AI transformation inside one of the world's largest insurers, which is this course's subject in the place it is hardest.
We have no AI client references yet, which is why the first step costs nothing and this first run is CHF 1,950 rather than CHF 2,400. The full CVs are on who you work with.
