Privacy
What this site does with what you type
Almost nothing, and the exceptions are both on this page. One form sends an email. One set of ten answers is counted without a name on it.
By default
The site collects nothing at all
- No cookies. Nothing on this site sets one.
- No analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising tag.
- No third-party request from your browser. The fonts and images come from this domain.
- No account, and nothing that identifies you across visits.
Two things are exceptions, and both only happen when you press a button.
Exception one
The course registration, which you send
- WhatYour name and email, and if you fill them in, your organization, role, which description is closest, billing details and anything you add.
- WhyTo hold your place, answer you, and send the invoice.
- Legal basisSteps taken at your own request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Not consent, so there is no box to tick and nothing to withdraw.
- Where it goesYour own mail app, addressed to Bar. This site does not send it for you and does not write it to any database.
- How longAs long as it takes to answer you and run the course. If you book, it sits with the business records Swiss law requires us to keep.
Exception two
The ten questions, which carry no name
If you finish the ten-question self-check and press the button, it sends your ten answers and the minute they arrived.
- No name, no email, no address, and no identifier of any kind.
- Two sets of answers cannot be told to be one person or two.
- Nothing in them reaches a person, so they are not personal data.
- They exist to calibrate the questions, and nothing else.
Who else touches it
Two processors, and that is the whole list
- Microsoft 365Bar's mailbox. It already held every registration sent before the form could send.
- VercelHosts the site. Its own server logs are outside this code, which is worth saying rather than implying otherwise.
Your rights
Ask, and we answer in writing
- Ask what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it, or to delete it.
- Ask for a copy of what you sent.
- Complain to a supervisory authority: the FDPIC in Switzerland, or your own in the EU.
